I got my first job interview in years and I went all clean-shaven and got a super-short haircut for it but I’m pretty sure I didn’t actually get the job.
I hate making this post again, but things have been a little stressful lately, especially since a cat-related emergency came up, and I might have to take Jasper to the vet tonight.
A lot of you know that I’ve been seriously ill now for a while now, which prevents me from working. I want to apply for disability (because in all likelihood, I qualify), but to do that I need to see some doctors first, and to do that, I need to save up, because the insurance I have (medicaid) is extremely limited, and most of my appointments are not covered. And of course, that process can take months to complete, so there’s no guarantee I will even get an answer by the end of the year.
I’m extremely limited in what I can do right now, since I don’t have the energy to even be awake for more than a few hours at a time. I can send you a cute thank you card (with stickers and stuff!) and/or kiss my cat and tell them it’s from you (I have four very cute cats to choose from so this is a sweet deal). My paypal is here. And here is a small, semi-organized list of what I need to do/get:
- Dental Work (two wisdom teeth + three molars in need of immediate- as in, shattered/exposed nerves/infected/impacted immediate- repair; After that, basically everything else, but that can wait)
- Medicine + Doctors appointments (I am going to a pain clinic in a few days, but their procedures may or may not be covered by my insurance. I’ve also been prescribed new medication by my rheumatologist, but I haven’t been able to pick it up, since my insurance does not cover it)
- Pillows + Bedding (It’s been three-ish years since I last got new bedding. My pillows are yellow, flat, and gross, and do not have cases. This is especially important because I spend so much time in bed)
- A sleeved maxi dress, scarves (This was my Ramadan goal, to dress more modestly, but obviously with everything in play, switching up my wardrobe hasn’t been an option. I don’t go out very often so it hasn’t been too much of an issue, and I’d really only need one good one to cover when I do go out.)
Endless list of beautiful cinematography
